This is a model side lever engine, of the type used in shipping during he mid 19th century. It is made entirely from brass. steel and copper and is done in the style of Chadburn’s of Sheffield. Once it’s finished it will be accompanied by a model boiler and two paddle wheels. Sadly it is a personal project and is not for sale.

A Huguenot inspired press for pressing small locomotive wheels onto axles. This is made from 12L14 Steel, along with brass and African Blackwood. Hopefully it will prove useful at what it is designed to do!
